Our New Collaborator: Marshall Schminke
We welcome Marshall Schminke as our newest Ethical Systems collaborator. Marshall serves on the working group for our culture measurement project and is both a leading voice on business ethics in the media and in the classroom.
Bio:
Marshall Schminke is the BB&T Professor of Business Ethics at the University of Central Florida, where he specializes in business ethics and strategy. He received his doctorate from Carnegie Mellon University, and has served as a Visiting Scholar at Oxford University and the London School of Economics.
He has published two books, more than 60 articles, and has given more than 80 presentations at professional conferences and universities around the world. He has served as Associate Editor at the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Business Ethics Quarterly and as an Academic Fellow with the Ethics Resource Center in Washington, D.C. He is a SIOP and APA Fellow, a member of the Society for Organizational Behavior, and received the Society of Business Ethics’ Master Ethics Teacher award.
He has advised organizations ranging from family businesses to Fortune 500 firms and his thoughts on business ethics and strategy have appeared in over 50 newspapers and magazines, including the New York Times, Newsday, and the Chicago Tribune.
